Geraldine Huse CEO & Chairman of the Board P&G Central Europe
Geraldine Huse assumed the role of CEO and Vice President of Procter & Gamble Central Europe in 2016, taking the responsibility for the company’s business and operations in the Central Europe Region comprising Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, the Baltic Countries and Ukraine. She leads an organization with over 6000 people, working to serve more than 120 million consumers with leading household brands like Always, Ariel, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, Lenor, Pampers and more.Geraldine Huse is the first female P&G CEO in Central Europe.
She joined P&G in 1986 in the UK. Her career has spanned various sales and marketing positions at P&G across the world, including a previous assignment based in Poland as brand Manager Fabric Care from 1996-1999. Since then, Geraldine has held a number of senior leadership roles in category and sales management in local, regional and global structures, including Vice President UK & Ireland and Vice President Sales global sales for the Tesco account in 11 countries.
In her career in P&G, Geraldine has championed D&I, pioneering efforts to address the gender balance in leadership roles and promoting inclusive leadership as the unique way to succeed in the age of disruption. UK’s top trade magazine identified Geraldine as one of the top 100 influential women in business. She is a member in the Queen’s Gallery Group set up by Buckingham Palace and the FTSE 100 Mentoring Foundation. She has been recognized for her achievements in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, incl. the prestigious Inclusive Leader Awards granted by Business in the Community in 2016. The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) recognized Geraldine for the progress of creating a more diverse and inclusive working environment.
She often speaks at prestigious events on gender diversity (PWC, E&Y, Institute of Directors, Amcham Europe) and the future of the FMCG (CEE Retail Summit, FMCG Forum), as well as shares her inspiring leadership philosophy with future recruits and academic environment (Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw School of Economics). Geraldine was representing the Company at the UN Climate Change Conference COP24 in Katowice 2018 to speak about the role of the FMCG industry in driving responsible consumption.
Geraldine Huse is married and has 2 sons.
