The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology is an Expertise Partner of the 10th anniversary ABSL Summit and the thematic path "Polish cities and regions". During the conference, several panel discussions and debates with representatives of the Ministry, city authorities and representatives of central and local government will take place within the path. Together with entrepreneurs as partners, they will discuss the best solutions that make it easier to do business in Poland. Technologically advanced enterprises are particularly important to ABSL and the Ministry. The most complex transformation from all industrial revolutions is also ahead of us. We are moving towards industry 4.0, very important, as an opportunity for Poland to take a leadership position in the area of innovative industries. The Ministry also support the development of innovations at the level of startups, to whom we dedicate the Start in Poland program.
At the ABSL Summit’s we will discuss the role of central and local government in building cooperation with business and issues such as quality of life as a lasting competitive advantage of cities, the potential of medium-sized cities as locations for business services’ investments or new-generation smart cities. We will start at Day 1 with introduction to the topic of Polish cities development and cooperation with government and local administration at the panel “Building the next generation smart cities”. Also, at Day 1 we will discuss and analyze prospects for further development of the business services sector in panel "Europe's growth champion: will Poland's success continue?"
Day 2 will be full of discussions with business representatives and cities’ authorities aimed at assessing how to increase investment attractiveness by improving the quality of life in large cities and ho to boost the potential of medium-sized cities as new emerging locations for BSS. Not only panels will be an opportunity to meet. Also working lunch with representatives of government, local government, business and academic centers will be a chance to discuss cooperation possibilities in order to acquire new investments. The day will be summed up at the plenary session of the Conference and hearing the speech of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, on the subject of "Poland 2030".
